The Photographer
Hi, and welcome to EdBoozer.com.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I started photography as a hobby back in high school.  Since I was the only one on the Annual Staff who figured out (or cared)  how to make the camera work, I got the photography job.  It wasn't long before I graduated and went off to college and forgot all about how much fun I'd had with a camera.  I never lost that love that most of us photo-ers share,  and during my mid twenties, picked it up again and started shooting.
A lot has changed since the seventies, especially with the new digital equipment, LightJet and InkJet printing technologies, and of course, the Internet.  Now days, I can shoot today, upload tonight and have prints shipping the next day.  We never even dreamed this stuff in the seventies.

Like most photographers, I think of myself as being a talented guy with a flair of individually.  I do not  have a full time photography business.  It's my second job and for those of you who believe that the best photography is done by someone who does it fulltime, please give me the chance to prove you're wrong.  I have been successfully doing photography for about 25 years and have never done it as a fulltime job.  I got in the business in the late 70s and finally stopped in 1990 because I became so busy that I no longer had time to shoot the things I loved to shoot … and that is the reason I started shooting in the first place.  In the early 80s, I became intrigued with computers and now work as a software developer and systems analyst.  Although I never stopped shooting pictures, I made the decision to stop selling my services.  Now that digital photography has become the norm, the camera has become the computer and my two passions in life have become one.
I do not compete with the prices of my fellow established photographers.  A full time photography business is a demanding job and I will not make it more so.  I compete only with talent and diversity of services, so all  my print prices should be within 5% of the norm for this area or what I think they're worth.

When it comes to photography, I've done almost everything.  At one time I got so involved with shooting weddings that I thought I would die.... did I mention, I don't do weddings anymore?  Well anyway, I've shot landscape, portraits, modeling portfolios, fashion, advertising,  product catalogs and even some news coverage.  I enjoy shooting many types of photography, though now with a family of six, I don't get to go on those exotic trips to the national parks like I once dreamed ( notice I said dreamed... I didn't get to go before the family either ).  However, with four boys, I find our local state park outings to be more fulfilling (and breathtaking) than any possible view through a camera lens.   I really enjoy shooting pictures of them, sometimes having to hand-off the camera to my wife in time to run and grab one before he gets swept up by a river or falls off a mountain (this is the breathtaking part).  Anyway, taking family pictures is something that people don't do often enough.  Thinking back through past generations, you probably remember yourself, as well as your elders, in the photographs you once saw or may still have.  For me, I have family photographs that are probably well over a hundred years old (... and some people say diamonds are forever ... well .., if I had as many family diamonds as I have photos ........ ).

My goal is to please everyone and if I don't, I expect you to let me know.  If you're totally unsatisfied and I can't fix the problem,  your cost is $0.  It is my belief that every satisfied customer will bring me at least one,  and that every unsatisfied customer will lose me at least four.

Why not let me create that perfect Portraiture or Art Work for you .... and your home.

I believe a photograph should be more than just a picture ... it should be a feeling too...
May all of yours be happy ones....
